The Young Marine Biologist Award (YMBA) is an annual, non-commercial contest launched by Underwater World Singapore since year 2002.
2008 has been designated as the International Year of the Reef (IYOR), celebrated worldwide to raise awareness about the importance of coral reefs and threats to their sustainability.
Underwater World Singapore, a key member of the IYOR 2008 Singapore working committee is proud to launch YMBA 2008 to garner support from all schools to commemorate this meaningful year.
We are looking for best blog submissions!
All students from Primary to Tertiary levels, International and overseas schools are welcome to participate. Simply get into a team of 2-3 to create a blog, and cash prizes worth S$6000 in total await you!
Each winning team will also each be rewarded with certificates of award and a school trophy.

When will the winners be announced? The deadline was extended to the 14th of September but its October now so it has been 3 weeks...
